[ WHAT THE RECON? ] 🔌

By now I am sure you've seen it... Jeep's new all electric Jeep Recon. One of the many rigs rolled out at last week's Freedom is Electric Jeep event.

Maybe I am alone in this opinion, but I kind of like it. Reminds me of where the Cherokee might have evolved to had they not gone all Range Rover-esque with the Grand Cherokee.

However, it is hard not to notice the side profile similarity to a Bronco 6G. Fighting for market share anyone?

I have two issues... First... how often do you trade your cell phone in? Is the Recon, or any fully electric Jeep, just going be a rig you trade in every couple years? As we talk about on our podcast this week, is it basically a throwaway Jeep?

And next... our 392 is a Recon edition... but wait, the new rig is called Recon... I think I am missing the connection.

Maybe Jeep is too.
