What do the Army, Elvis and Tulsa, OK, have in common?

What do an Army Base, Elvis and Tulsa, Oklahoma have in common?

That's easy... they are all on the list of the next stops for #CTITour2015!

Corey just finished visiting three amazing shops on his way from Colorado to Unlimited Off Road Expo (Facebook | Website) in Louisville, Kentucky, and we will be doing CTI's there for the next couple days - in fact, I fly out tonight on a red eye, so I hope to see you there!

On Monday, June 8, the #CTITour2015 continues with our first stop at Air Assault Auto Parts on Ft. Campbell. Yes, ON the base! How cool is that?!?! (See below for how you can join us on base).

On Tuesday, June 9, we will head to Memphis, Tenessee, and after driving by Graceland, we will stop at Hypertech where our friends will be hosting the next stop along with members of MidSouth Jeep Club.

And finally, on Wednesday, June 10, our final stop on this tour will be Sam's Off Road Equipment in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which might very well be the biggest, non-event stop, yet thanks to our friends in JeepersAnonymous.

Here is where you can join us as we head West...
#4 - Air Assault Auto, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky - Monday, June 8

• LOCATION: Air Assault, Airborne Street, Bldg 5300, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky
• TIME: 2 - 5 (or so)
• DETAILS: The CTI testing will be on base. To join us without a military ID, just go to the Visitor Center with your DL, Registration & Proof of Insurance. It takes a few minutes to get a pass, but it will be worth it. (BTW, Air Assault sells parts tax free!)

#5 - Hypertech, Memphis, Tennessee - Tuesday, June 9

• LOCATION: Hypertech, 3215 Appling Road, Bartlett, Tennessee
• TIME: 4 - 6 (or so)
• DETAILS: Hypertech is hosting this event in conjunction with the Midsouth Jeep Club.

#6 - Sam's Offroad Equipment, Tulsa, Oklahoma - Wednesday, June 10

• LOCATION: Sam's Offroad Equipment, 4345 South West Blvd, Tulsa, Oklahoma
• TIME: 4 - 7 (or so)
• DETAILS: Rick at Sam's Offroad will be hosting this event. Reports are there will be some good BBQ and lots and lots of Jeeps!

CTI Tour 2015 - The Road to UOR

CTI TOUR 2015 - the Road to UOR is ON!

Starting this Monday, our suspension and product expert, Corey Osborne will be heading cross country for the second of four trips this year... this time the destination is Unlimited Off Road Expo in Louisville, Kentucky!

UOR runs June 5 - 7 and looks to be an incredible event with all kinds of activities! (Facebook | Website)

Four our part, like we did at Jeep Beach, the CTI Suspension Testing Trailer will be part of the public obstacle course at the Expo! How cool is that?

But, we have lots of other opportunities for you to get your Suspension tested... see below for the schedule!

I will personally be flying in to Louisville Friday morning (not as much fun as going cross country!) and hope to see you there!

UOR is new to the event scene, but, based on last year's turn out, the industry has embraced this new show and so have the customers.

Overland Expo, New Swag and the Pic of the Week!

We expect to have a refreshing, if cold, weekend in Northern Arizona. Refreshing because we will be attending the Overland Expo outside Flagstaff Arizona.

Don't get me wrong, we love Rock Crawling, but we also love living the adventure, exploring, camping out in the middle of the Mojave. Basically, we love Overlanding almost as much as wheeling the Rubicon.

So, through rain and snow, we will be hanging out with our yellow 4 door (Cloak 5) equipped with a Ripp Supercharger, KargoMaster prototype rack, ARB Tent and Canopy, Powertank, Warn Winch and Raceline Wheels. Look for the guys on the road as they land in Northern Arizona.

NEW PRODUCT: Durotrak Joints

Every good company likes to remain relevant by creating new producst, but at Metalcloak we never stop improving already existing products.

And while you, our friends, have raved about our track bars over the years, we weren't really happy with using stock-style clevite bushings.

Introducing the Patent Pending (#14/622,350) Durotrak(TM) Joint. The Durotrak is composed of two halves that screw together and uses force from where the two halves meet to keep it secure.

CONGRATULATIONS to our own Corey Osborne for capturing this sequence of photos at the Metalcloak Stampede and turning it into a Gif. (You know I had to share it!) What you see here friends is the always amazing Shannon Campbell in another incredible recovery. What this gif does not show is the additional excitement he displayed for the crowd when he almost endo'd at the double jump just a few seconds later. We'd love to see more gifs, so keep them coming!
