Merry Christmas my friend... today's 5-Bullet Friday is five of the things I love about Christmas... I hope you do too.
- THE BREAKFAST: With all the gourmet options on Christmas... Christmas morning tradition for me is a pile of fresh-backed Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with orange frosting. I indulge in those only once a year. Yum!! What is your Christmas morning tradition?
- THE MUSIC: Manheim Steamroller's Christmas is a timeless, enjoyable, modern interpretation of the Christmas classics. I've been listening to them for over 25 years every Christmas and it helps me put aside the problems of work and focus on the Christmas spirit. You can listen to this amazing music for free on Pandora.
- THE FIRE: I am fortunate now to live in a house with a fireplace, but the Yule Log was my go to when I lived in an 800 sq ft house just a few years ago.
- THE FAMILY: Family truly is the number one favorite reason for Christmas. This year my family is blessed to be fostering two young boys - nothing more special at Christmas time. If you have ever thought about fostering or adopting, give me a shout, I would love to share our experience with you. It is incredible.
- THE FRIENDS: Ever since I had my first paper route at the age of 10 for the Sacramento Union newspaper, I've enjoyed the customers I've met and the friends I made doing my job... and Christmas made it that much more special. Going door to door around Christmas time delivering papers and collecting monthly billings, was an experience that has stayed with me. Now, today, working with friends like you, I get the same joyful experience. Thank you.
